Its overboost function, which increases the peak torque from 240 to 260 Nm, is also one of a kind. It sprints from a standstill to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds. And drivers can push right up to 230 km/h – with the rear spoiler extended. A sports car that’s just perfect for an urban adventure.

You can really believe it’s bigger inside than out. The MINI Cooper Coupé has all the right ingredients to make even a short trip an experience to relish. There is plenty of space for all passengers, too. Specially designed elliptical elements integrated into the roof liner substantially increase the amount of headroom.

The twin-scroll turbocharger developing 135 kW (184 hp) gives it plenty of energy. The aerodynamically shaped Coupé silhouette helps it to cut effortlessly through the air stream. Thanks to this combination, the two-seater is capable of a top speed of 230 km/h. To ensure that the Coupé stays fully agile even at such high speeds, torsion reinforcements have been incorporated into the bulkhead behind the front seats. They stiffen the body and reduce the load on the driver.

Further back than the bonnet, too, the MINI Cooper Coupé produces some impressive figures. The large tailgate opens very high, to reveal a conveniently low loading sill. That makes it possible to load up the 280-litre boot in an instant.
