Designed for top performances, the engine impresses with its overwhelming traction. Every component has to withstand extreme tests before it earns the title “John Cooper Works." The result is boost pressure ripe for the racetrack with tremendously powerful pistons and valves. They drive the 1.6-litre direct injection engine to its maximum. Overboost raises the torque to 207 ft/lb at 2,000-5,100 rpm. Restraint? It’s practically impossible.

A door concept that is simply unique. The Splitdoor at the rear makes loading and unloading a cinch, and there's tons of room in the luggage compartment. More room is available in the storage compartments on the inside of the door.

On the passenger side of the MINI Clubman, the Clubdoor opens against the direction of travel. Directly behind it is a lounge-like rear seat for up to three persons.
